Mosque women in bazaar boost
Women at a mosque have raised more than £1,100 to help redevelop their building.
Members of Ahmadiyya Muslim Association, in Clarendon Park, Leicester, held a meena bazaar to raise funds.
Riffat Ahmed, president of the women's section of the mosque, said: "We are delighted with the success of the bazaar. We had a wide variety of foods, as well as clothes stalls and nail art.
"Children also brought items to raise funds for the mosque.
"We are grateful to all who contributed and for the prayers of everyone who made the occasion such a blessed one."
