Seeing the light
A temple has been given an award for combating light pollution.
BAPS Shri Swaminarayan Mandir, in Gypsy Lane, Leicester, was recognised by the British Astronomical Association.
The £4 million Hindu temple, which opened in October, received an award from the association's Campaign for Dark Skies for its use of low-voltage LED lighting around the building.
