PHILOSOPHY IN PUBS, AUGUST 2012

First Wednesday of the month and Leicester PIPs (Philosophy in Pubs) is meeting upstairs in the Crumblin' Cookie on the High Street. Fourteen of us are gathered here this evening, including special guest Paul Doran, one of the founders of the original Philosophy in Pubs in Liverpool more than a decade ago (that's Paul in the photo above, with facilitators of the Leicester group, Lezley Finch and Clare Carr. Our stimulus this time is the question, "Is it immoral to ask the plumber for a cash discount?"
