From today's Leicester Mercury:
Temple opens after deities consecrated
The public can take a look round a new Hindu temple this weekend.
Baps Shri Swaminarayan Mandir, at the corner of Catherine Street and Gypsy Lane, in Belgrave, Leicester, opens its doors from 1pm to 7pm tomorrow.

The temple will be one of the biggest in the Midlands and cost £1 million to build.
There was due to be a procession of Hindu deities through the city centre today to celebrate the opening.
The deities will be consecrated in ceremonies tomorrow, after which the building will become a mandir.
